Experienced serious difficulties with getting my rubbish collected and getting new bins. New rubbish collection scheme is terrible. Appalling situation altogether. I called the council on a few occasions now, and Whoever I speak to are generally polite, but it doesn't really matter, since they never fulfil what they promise. I don't use any other of their services, so why pay CT?
After moving out of the way of a speeding ambulance, I was fined for stopping in a yellow box junction even though I did not block any flow of traffic. Absolute shambles. I seriously worry about the morals and values of the person responsible for rejecting my honest appeal and continuing to fine me, even after looking at the photo and video evidence. Someone that would rather stop an ambulance (and potentially risk someone's life) than move aside safely and penalise the person for doing so is clearly warped in the brain. Another council scam
Worst council in London. Council tax at highest level, but service is the worst. New waste collection scheme and state of pavements are a joke. I'm still waiting for new wheelie bins four months on. Don't bother complaining, they are rude, ignore you and treat you like dirt. Zero stars.
Appalling service and attitude of staff I kept being put through to the main switch-board that rang 4 times then nothing, just silence for minutes. After my 3rd call and after 19 minutes being put through different numbers for residential parking, eventually I was given a number to call separately where there was no answer or voicemail availability. Of the 7 people I spoke with 3 of the women had the attitude of go away, 1 lady was very helpful and the 3 men were also helpful. Overall infuriating, nothing resolved.
Even with the new system there is rubbish all over the streets which results in pest animals. Calling the customer service is of no use, they are often rude on the phone and every one I talk to says different things and they promise a lot but they never go through with it.
